Hello WordPress!
I’ve moved!
I’ve finally joined the self hosted WordPress club!!
I’m really going to miss Blogger but I think moving to WordPress was a necessary step.
What do you guys think of the new blog?

Hello, I know this post is over ten years old, but I just read it and your rant post and I am awed. I completely […]
Growing up in my village school and seen how we were beaten for speaking igbo language to speck the igbo at old age
Yes it’s my dialect, but there is a very practical reason why I use it. Onicha Igbo is the most widely understood dialect due to historical
Is the Onicha Anambra dialect your dialect? If so that seems... a bit biased.
[…] I first learned to write Igbo in school, I have been infuriated with Samuel Ajayi Crowther,” she blogged in 2009. “The Roman system of writing was
I can still view your post from my dashboard so that is great! That is my only problem with wordpress blogs.
Oh wow, I didn’t know that. WordPress is a bit more difficult to use than Blogger but the trade off in customisation is great!
Its a bit busy. Maybe a different layout would work on the vistors’ side. Especially comments section. I kind of got lost XD
I think it just takes some getting used to. I’ve only ever had three major design changes in my blog’s history so the last time I changed my blog’s design, even I got lost and it took me forever to get used to it.
That was a bold move and It still looks really good. What brings me to your site is your content and i can’t think of any platform that can take that away.
Thanks Tosin!!!! The move was a big decision but at the end of the day, the platform doesn’t really matter as long as you can still blog right?
Well, what more to say or think? It’s only nice that people move when they know they have to; meaning that you know what your heart desires. I’m ok with the fact that I can still view your posts!
Nice to know you made good your plans to move. I’m ok with the fact that I can still view your posts!
I’m glad you can still view my posts. That means all the hours I spent coding weren’t in vain. ^_^
Your posts still show in my dashboard, so I guess I am cool with the move.
Awesome!!!
Oooh you did it! Did it take a lot of work on the backend? It’s interesting that your blog is still visible on Blogger dashboards! I’m even more tempted now.
It took A LOT of work to move from Blogger to WordPress and keep all my posts still showing up for my Blogger and Google Based readers. I’ve spent the last two weeks writing code and I’m still not done.
Don’t be intimidated by how much work or code is involved, even if you’re not a techy, here’s a really good step by step guide for moving from Blogger to WordPress without losing your readers or followers.
http://www.mypregnancybaby.com/moving-blogger-wordpress/ – this really helped me. It was a nightmare but it would have been an even bigger nightmare without it.
Thanks for this!
I’m going to start working on it in the next couple of weeks, for sure 🙂
I love it! It looks great.
Thanks! It was SO MUCH WORK though! I’m still fixing things and trying to get some things to work. Blogger was just sign up and go but WordPress has a seriously steep learning curve.
