I can still view your post from my dashboard so that is great! That is my only problem with wordpress blogs. Reply March 6, 2013 sugabelly Oh wow, I didn’t know that. WordPress is a bit more difficult to use than Blogger but the trade off in customisation is great! Reply March 5, 2013 Rukky Sochima Its a bit busy. Maybe a different layout would work on the vistors’ side. Especially comments section. I kind of got lost XD Reply March 6, 2013 sugabelly I think it just takes some getting used to. I’ve only ever had three major design changes in my blog’s history so the last time I changed my blog’s design, even I got lost and it took me forever to get used to it. Reply March 6, 2013 Tosin Agabu That was a bold move and It still looks really good. What brings me to your site is your content and i can’t think of any platform that can take that away. Reply March 9, 2013 sugabelly Thanks Tosin!!!! The move was a big decision but at the end of the day, the platform doesn’t really matter as long as you can still blog right? Reply March 6, 2013 debby 'baro Well, what more to say or think? It’s only nice that people move when they know they have to; meaning that you know what your heart desires. I’m ok with the fact that I can still view your posts! Reply March 6, 2013 debby 'baro Nice to know you made good your plans to move. I’m ok with the fact that I can still view your posts! Reply March 9, 2013 sugabelly I’m glad you can still view my posts. That means all the hours I spent coding weren’t in vain. ^_^ Reply March 9, 2013 Lara Your posts still show in my dashboard, so I guess I am cool with the move. Reply March 9, 2013 sugabelly Awesome!!! Reply March 9, 2013 Adura O Oooh you did it! Did it take a lot of work on the backend? It’s interesting that your blog is still visible on Blogger dashboards! I’m even more tempted now. Reply March 9, 2013 sugabelly It took A LOT of work to move from Blogger to WordPress and keep all my posts still showing up for my Blogger and Google Based readers. I’ve spent the last two weeks writing code and I’m still not done. Don’t be intimidated by how much work or code is involved, even if you’re not a techy, here’s a really good step by step guide for moving from Blogger to WordPress without losing your readers or followers. http://www.mypregnancybaby.com/moving-blogger-wordpress/ – this really helped me. It was a nightmare but it would have been an even bigger nightmare without it. Reply March 11, 2013 Adura O Thanks for this! I’m going to start working on it in the next couple of weeks, for sure Reply March 29, 2013 Nwunye I love it! It looks great. Reply March 29, 2013 sugabelly Thanks! It was SO MUCH WORK though! I’m still fixing things and trying to get some things to work. Blogger was just sign up and go but WordPress has a seriously steep learning curve. Leave a Reply Click here to cancel reply.
