So I heard that a lot of young girls/women dream of the day they will get married/ the man that will marry them.
Is this true?
I have never once dreamed of “the person” I will marry (this doesn’t include dreaming about someone I’m already in love with/in a relationship with) nor have I ever dreamed about getting married in general.
All of my most enjoyable (and frequent )dreams are about the day my bank account will read $XXX million dollars or pounds or even riyal if possible.
Am I abnormal?

Lol. Wow Sugabelly. Uhmmm you are not abnormal. Perhaps you are not as bothered with the “prince charming” idea like the other girls .Someday you might dream about prince charming. Let us know when you do would ya?
LoL.
Nah girl, you’re just broke.
lol@anonymous.
I think dreams vary at each point in life.
i dream of money too. my friends tell me it’s because i’m igbo.
Nope, you’re not abnormal. When I was a teenager, I was dreaming of all the people I was going to have sex with (I had a quota to fill), all the money I would make and all the places I would travel to. I’ve only managed to somewhat fulfil one of those dreams
I didn’t dream of marriage at all, though I did dream of falling in love. People said that I didn’t dream of marriage because I ‘did not know anything’. I’m older now but perhaps I still don’t know anything because I’m not dreaming of marriage even now.
you’re not abnormal, you re just a typical igbo girl……………….like me.lol
I dream of having some good money in my account too, and of living a great and fun-filled life hehehehe… never dreamed about “prince charming” or about marriage… so you are not abnormal or perhaps we are a bunch of weirdos :p
Lol, clearly you are in good company.
I love your dreams… so much more practical…
haha you are very normal. I have to admit, i dream about my unknown husband and kids sometimes.
I never dreamed about marriage when I was younger. Love, sometimes, fame and riches mainly ^_^
I worry for the girls who are fixated purely on the Prince Charming ideal – if they have issues, having a man in their lives isn’t going to fix that…
